Our vision is to provide educational and recreational space for the community that has been an oasis of Islamic scholarship and history for over 200 years. We believe that empowerment is nurtured in minds and hearts, and Madrasatul Huda has been nurturing the younger generations in the community since the 1950s. In a time where it’s more important than ever for youth to be of sound heart and mind, Madrasatul Huda plays a critical role in preserving the heritage in Lamu County. Our team of architects and community members have worked tirelessly to prepare plans for this beacon of knowledge, safety and security for generations to come. Now all we need are the funds.
